Derek - I was assuming that Kodak was going after Flip. If that is the case you at least need to match or exceed specs which I think Kodak does. However many consumers just want fewer things to worry and carry. The Flip does that with its built in memory and battery. I have a Canon Vixia HD Camera but thinking about getting a smaller video camera for quick shoot/upload work. May be I should take a closer look at the Kodak as well.

Actually, PK, it's a bit more like selling a camera without film. Or a camera without a memory card. Or camcorder without an SD card. I'd complain more about it if it wasn't already such common practice. Sony's Webbies also needed a memory card, I recall.

Still, it shows just how successful the Flip has been that we're all a bit confused that the memory isn't built-in, you know?

Head to head this could kick Flips butt however I just can't figure out why they wouldn't include more built-in memory? It's like selling a printer without the USB cable - bad for user experience. BTW I added a link to your store from my blog - that is how much I love the expired film rack at the Carmel store.
