Olympus’ M.Zuiko 14-150mm f4-5.6 zoom, the 28-300mm equivalent super-zoom for its Micro Four Thirds Pen system, is the subject of the newest lens review over at Imaging Resource. My feeling is that they found just the right amount of compromises. If I ever lay my hands on this product I will find out my self.
Yeah, I’m generally fond of Olympus’ decision with compromises and lenses. I’m also starting to find on Four-Thirds there are lots of times I prefer the “worst” blurring towards the corners. Seems counter-intuitive, but sometimes having those softer corners wide-open helps counter the natural increase in depth-of-field, I think.
