Canon just dropped a tidy trio of firmware upgrades. Looks like you XS (1000D) and XSi (450D) get upgrdes to use the AF assist on that new 270EX speedlite that’s on its way out. You 50D people get that plus improvements on highISO banding, which I think is actually the firmware winner today.

So, it was photo walk this morning. Yessir indeed it was. We wandered down to Indy’s famous and overshot Circle for fun and shutters. I shot a duck. There was chat. Oh, and Nick WIELDED A FLIP at us, so we have a few quick video clips, taken in-between sessions of him shooting.
Pictures later, for now, moving pictures, they’re gonna be big, I’m telling ya.
