As many of you should probably know, Roberts Raw is now doing weekly installments as video blogs on YouTube and on our site. One question we’ve been getting is why the video quality isn’t better. Which, I suppose is a valid question, given that we have a warehouse chock full of the newest and shiniest Sony HD camcorders, compact camcorders, and a few really nice professional camcorders. And, we hope someday to using those and producing slick, awesome videos for you.

But, right now we’re in the early stages. Testing, if you will. We’ve never had the oppurtunity to do something like this before, and while we figure out how we need to do it we’re keeping it fluid and simple. We picked up one of our Flips and not five minutes later we were off to the races with our first video blog being uploaded to the web. And that’s a sort of convenience that’s hard to beat, and let’s us provide you these videos with shorter turn-around time, helping us to keep them as time-relevant as we can.

So, for now, just sit back with us as we explore this all new way (for us, anyway) of getting you more information to help you understand the current and complex camera world. And, keep giving us feedback, so we know what you want to see more of, and learn more about.
